Prompt 3: Game Time

[ Welcome to the Game Tower. Today's game is a sort of mad fake phantom thief free-for-all. You arrived, were given top hats and cloaks, and the inside floor of the tower had been remodeled to resemble an art museum, with a giant roulette wheel right by the elevator you exited. Below that was a little slot, where today's hologram host explained the wheel would spit out a slip with a goal just for you.

So you have a little slip of paper with a goal on it, and no way of knowing what anyone else's goals are, though you did see the big roulette wheel being spun at the beginning letting you know the some of the possibilities:

...well, waiting around isn't going to get you any points. Get to it, temporary phantom thief! ]

[Today a new face is staring at his slip of paper, unblinking. He seems a little odd, but it looks like he could use some help. Maybe you can help him or maybe you're just as lost.]

[ Tilting his head, weirdo... ]

[Unfortunately for him, he has engaged the weirdo. And said weird is now approaching him.]

Yo, can I help you?

[lovescomplicated]

I believe so. You're not quite the right size, but it will do. Now, if you would kindly stand still?

[And with that, he reaches up and begins to peel off Laine's jacket]

Whoa, whoa there. You can’t just be touching people like that!

[lovescomplicated]

[Holds up his slip]

I doubt it will count if you simply hand it to me.

Not happening.

Do you not have a slip I can assist you with? I believe we can help each other. It would benefit both of us to cooperate with one another.

I have to steal something a little less scandalous than clothing.

[lovescomplicated]

I would not leave you naked.

You’re not stealing my clothes.

[lovescomplicated]

I would give them back, but very well.

How will you ever steal my jacket though?

[Sets down and unzips his backpack....which is stuffed with jackets]

I have already fulfilled the task, but I wasn't sure if MORE clothing would secure additional points. That is, I may have overachieved.

[youyousa]

[ ... g-geh. How could he say no to such dedication to task? ]

Promise to bring it back?

[Nods at that, stepping towards him again]

I can't ask permission, because then it wouldn't be stealing. I will assume it's all right to proceed again however.

Hold on, let me uh... turn around?

[ Why did he even agree to this? He lets the jacket hang loosely from his shoulders, oh no~ ]

[lovescomplicated]

[Gently tugging his jacket off before folding it and placing it with the others in his backpack]

[youyousa]

[ turning back around. ]

Oh no, I seem to have misplaced my jacket.

[lovescomplicated]

Ah...that seems to be happening a lot lately. You should probably put up a wanted poster to warn the others.

Right, I should. It seems like the right thing to do to apprehend the criminal.
